Diversity

I am committed to building a just, inclusive and equitable world. I welcome clients of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, sexual identities and orientations, and relationship configurations. It is my responsibility to work actively to be anti-racist and investigate my own blind spots when working with clients different than myself. I also consider the dynamics of power and privilege for my clients and their relationships.

Zoom

For now and for the foreseeable future, I meet with clients on the Zoom platform for healthcare that is HIPAA-compliant to safeguard your privacy.

Fees & Insurance

Please reach out to me to inquire about my current rates. I am not on any “in-network” insurance panels at this time. I do provide a receipt (Superbill) that you can submit directly to your insurance. Many PPO insurance plans reimburse you a percentage of costs. Check with your insurance provider to verify the specifics for your plan. Alternatively, therapy can usually be paid for with pre-tax dollars from your FSA (flexible spending account) or HSA (health savings account).

Good Faith Estimate

Under a new 2022 law, health care providers are required to give patients without insurance or those not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill provided you have a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
